What inspires a non-fan of the L.A. Kings to buy one of their jerseys? For me, it was the best color scheme in the history of hockey jerseys. Silver – distinguished from mere gray with its a glittering sheen – is a rare color among sports teams, but this classic jersey sports it with class. If I was to acquire this jersey, I could not entrust its stitching to the regular NHL shop, but had to turn to Hockey Authentic.
As worn on ice, the silver lining used in player numbers differs from the silver used on the sleeves. H.A. sources out the exact same material for this silver lining, and I should hope that my picture showing the two tints of silver side-by-side demonstrates this well enough. For reference, I took this picture in the sunlight, to make things asclear as possible. I should also hope that this helps any prospective buyers in deciding whether or not this color scheme is for them, if they are like me and sometimes buy jerseys purely on such basis.
Finally, with regards to the base jersey used by H.A., the chrome chest logo is more flexible than on most other Adidas authentic jerseys, which makes it more comfortable and gives me extra peace of mind. In my collection, only the Blackhawks and the Blues have similarly soft logos. After the colors, this is like the cherry on top of making this the perfect jersey. With as perfect as it is, I'm glad that I didn't skimp out and had it customized through H.A.
